Description

Hello,
For context:
I am a blind user and I navigate my computer using a screen reader called NVDA. I recently discovered Ente Auth on Reddit and I am quite impressed with the product on Android. However, I am encountering several accessibillity issues on the Windows version that I would like to bring to your attention:

  1. Unlabeled Button for Adding New 2FA Codes: Upon starting the application and signing in, I notice an unlabeled button next to the list of 2FA codes. I assume this is the "Add New" button, but the lack of a label makes it difficult for me to confirm. Additionally, when I press this button, the edit fields that appear are also not labeled. My screen reader only announces "button," "edit," etc., without providing any descriptive context for the elements I am focused on.

  2. Navigation Menu Accessibility: When I attempt to open the navigation menu, I find it nearly impossible to navigate through its options. While I can hear "Navigation menu grouping" when I tab into it, I am unable to focus on or select any of the options. There seems to be no way to access a list of items within this menu.

  3. Feedback on 2FA Code Interaction: The list of 2FA codes is generally usable, but I receive no auditory feedback when I press Enter on an item. On Android, TalkBack provides notifications such as "Copied" when a code is copied to the clipboard. In contrast, on Windows, I have no confirmation whether the code has been copied. Furthermore, navigating to the next code or deleting an item is also not possible, as I am unable to find any keyboard shortcuts or context menus.

I would be extremely grateful if the team could investigate these issues and consider enhancements to improve accessibility within the application. If further clarification is needed, I would be more than happy to provide additional details.

Thank you very much for your attention to this matter!

Best regards,
Jonathan
